Contrary to the media image; "face of an occupier", this is not a Hippie, pot-smoking sit-in. Nor is this a bunch of college age mobsters. The faces are as varied as we are as humans.
Young- old and everything in-between. They all want to be heard. The grievances are assorted. But one thing is for certain . They are simply FED UP.
Rio, this is a good photo report about a topical subject. Yes, citizens of Western World countries are supposed to be free to decide but, these days, Moody's, Fitch Ratings or Standard and Poor's seem to have the last word. Like those demonstrators, I find it a scandal... I am trying to read (not that easy!) what Joseph Stiglitz writes about it.
