I empathise with those poor people. We sometimes have floodings in the city where I work. The documentation centre on the environment I am in charge of is only 10 m from the river. Last year I spent a whole day to bring books and exhibitions stuff upstairs in case a flooding was going to happen during the night. It didn't happen that time, thanks God.
