leftovers

the local parks and rec have recycled Christmas trees for quite a few years now. some are chipped and used for
mulch on trails etc. and some are used in the lakes as bedding for the aqua-environment. the rules are that they are
to be free of all lights and tinsel. while i was photographing i happened to notice a strand of silver. a sparkling reminder of the joy of the sacrificial tree.

  1. Nothing says "Christmas is over" like this photo.

  2. It's a very poignant picture, the pile of discarded trees surrounded by their upright brothers.
